When Chapman BMW hosts the Ultimate Driving Experience on May 21, customers will be treated to hors d’oeuvres, an impeccable showroom filled with the latest models, and prize bags. Attendees also will experience the rare opportunity to comparison shop between BMW, Porsche and Mercedes in person.

BMW of North America is not only bringing a BMW X1, X3, 640i Gran Coupe and a 750Li, they are bringing the competition with them, in the form of a Porsche Panamera and Mercedes Benz GLK 350, S550 and E350. And while this sounds counterintuitive to the sales process, it’s a win-win situation for customers. They can drive cars of similar price points and performance, and compare their likes and dislikes for each vehicle. It’s also another level of supreme service for customers looking for a BMW in Arizona.

“The BMW Ultimate Drive Experience gives customers a chance to interact with vehicles by both driving them and comparing their favorite BMW model with other brands,” explains Rich Yang, Sales Manager for Chapman BMW. “The side-by-side comparison, along with a $1,000 purchase incentive offer, makes the Ultimate Drive Experience the best time to purchase a new BMW.”

Phoenix BMW customers also will receive a re-usable BMW Lifestyles bag containing gifts such as a BMW travel mug, accessory gift card and discounts for the BMW Performance Center. Attendees can check out the latest BMW car gear for their 3-Series, including the BMW M Performance Rear Spoiler, Sport Handbrake grip, and steel covers for both foot pedals and rests.

The world premiere of the first BMW X5 in 1999 took BMW into the Sports Activity Vehicle segment, and eventually moved BMW into a trend setter when it comes to SAVs. The BMW X3 and BMW X1, available at an Arizona BMW dealer, were likewise the first SAVs in their classes, and continue to define these types of vehicles today. With the BMW Concept X4, BMW offers a preview of the future of the BMW X family.

The X4 is a sportier version of the X3 with a lower roofline and coupe styling.  According to BMW, it is designed to attract younger buyers looking for more stylish vehicles and willing to pay a price premium. At first glance, it’s easy to see how smoothly the qualities of a BMW SAV can blend with the DNA of a BMW Coupe. Eye-catching proportions, tight contours and numerous high-quality details produce an unmatched product character bursting with appeal, energy and the common strength you would expect from a BMW, while at the same time holding out the promise of exceptional performance and driving dynamics. If you’re in the market for a BMW in Phoenix, you can experience all of this when the BMW X4 production model rolls out of the factory for its market launch, scheduled for 2014.

In concept form, the X4 wears 21-inch alloy wheels, an element of class that will surely be right-sized to something extra. Key design details reflect the X6 in many respects, though the newer X4 offers an updated front-end, with full LED headlights on this concept. Large air intakes, with inserts that match the kidney grille, give the Concept X4 a more aggressive stance that matches the wide track and lower height.

From the side dynamic character lines along the side radiate the Concept X4’s sporting capabilities. At the rear, more LEDs compose the tail lights, while the rear apron mimics the front’s intakes with cut outs for the exhaust pipes. Finishing the X4’s design treatment is a dark lower section that extends around the vehicle, designed to make it seem lower to the ground.
